Pleasant Grove, TX – 1 Killed in S Masters Dr Collision

Pleasant Grove, TX (February 17, 2020) – A collision on Saturday sadly claimed the life of one victim in Pleasant Grove.

On February 16, police and emergency crews in Pleasant Grove responded to the scene of a major motor vehicle accident in the 500 block of South Masters Drive. Reports indicate that two vehicles were racing down South Masters Drive. At the same time, a vehicle pulled out onto the roadway at the intersection of Cushing Drive.

One of the racing vehicles struck the third vehicle, causing the driver of the third vehicle to be ejected. The vehicle then burst into flames. The 45-year-old male victim was declared deceased at the scene.

The 23-year-old driver of the racing vehicle was seriously injured and rushed to an area hospital for treatment.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
