At around 8:30 a.m., on February 17, authorities were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Highway 31. Reports indicate that a male victim was struck by a motor vehicle in the westbound lanes of the highway near League Ranch Road.
The body of the deceased male was discovered along the side of the road. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene without stopping to render aid.
At this time, authorities are investigating.
