San Antonio, TX – One Killed in Plane Crash near Mission Rd

San Antonio, TX (July 26, 2020) – A plane crash reported on Saturday claimed one victim’s life in the San Antonio area. According to reports, at approximately 9:10 a.m., on July 25, authorities were called to the site of a plane crash near the Stinson Municipal Airport.

Reports provided by the Federal Aviation Administration and the San Antonio Police Department show that a single-engine Piper PA-28 plane was attempting to take off from the airport when it crash-landed behind a residence. The crash resulted in fatal injuries for one person involved. The other victims sustained severe burn injuries. Both victims were rushed to Brooke Army Medical Center for treatment. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
