Round Rock, TX – David Bonorden Killed in Plane Crash on Ranch Rd 1431

Round Rock, TX (July 4, 2020) – Just after 1 p.m., on July 1, the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a plane crash incident on Ranch Road 1431.

Reports from DPS show that 58-year-old David Bonorden was flowing a twin-engine Cessna aircraft from the Rusty Allen airport in Lago Vista when his plane crashed in a wooded area just north of Ranch Road 1431. Bonorden was killed instantly in the accident. At this time, the Federal Aviation Administration is investigating.
