Deadly Tanker Truck Accidents in Texas

Nolanville, TX - One Killed in Fiery Tanker-Truck Crash on I-14A severe problem that annually affects thousands of individuals is semi-truck accidents. There are between 400,000 and 500,000 accidents involving semi trucks each year in the United States, according to the most up-to-date crash statistics. Over 100,000 people are injured, and 4,000 to 4,600 people die as a result of these accidents every year. Nothing can bring a loved one back to you if they died due to someone else's carelessness, and a deadly accident is both heartbreaking and irreversible. While wrongful death lawyers are aware of this reality, they can still help you in seeking justice for your departed family member and fighting for the financial settlement that would enable your family to go forward with financial recovery.

In the State of Texas, wrongful death happens when someone else dies as a result of someone else's wrongdoing, negligence, carelessness, or incompetence. On behalf of their loved one (the decedent), the survivors of the deceased file a wrongful death lawsuit. In contrast to criminal prosecutions, wrongful death claims are civil lawsuits filed against individuals or organizations that are believed to have caused the deaths of others. It is the survivors of the deceased who file wrongful death lawsuits, not the state or the federal government, who both have the authority to file criminal charges.
