The accident was reported on TX-164 early that morning, around 6 a.m. It was initially reported that a Kenworth truck tractor was traveling westbound when it entered oncoming traffic and collided with a Freightliner truck tractor.
The area was temporarily closed while emergency crews and paramedics were present to aid the involved parties. The extent and number of resulting injuries have not been determined at this time.
