18-Wheeler Crashes in Texas

It may be surprising, but large trucks carry the majority of the cargo across the United States. The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has already reported 57,000 trucking accidents this year. Texas plays an important role in the nation’s transportation network, and large commercial vehicles frequently transfer cargo across the state’s major roadways. Sadly, this has led to a rise in the likelihood of fatal trucking accidents in the Lone Star State. Texas is the site of about 10 percent of all fatal trucking accidents in the United States. There were 6,740 heavy truck crashes reported across the state in 2022 alone. It is an unfortunate reality that semi-truck crashes happen daily across the state of Texas. The injuries that result from these collisions can be devastating. These collisions can cost victims tens of thousands of dollars, and most are not prepared to deal with these extravagant costs. Crash victims should not be held financially responsible for the reckless actions of a driver or a third-party part manufacturer. In many cases, third parties are involved in trucking accidents, and you need a lawyer who can prove who is liable for your injuries and other damages after a significant collision. If you do not hire a trained Texas truck accident lawyer, you may find yourself unable to make the recovery necessary in order to get back to your way of life.
