The typical semi-truck can weigh between 10,000 and 25,000 pounds even without a trailer. They can weigh up to 80,000 pounds when completely loaded. A semi-tremendous truck's weight means that its impact can be catastrophic. No other type of accident causes as much damage. They can, and frequently do, cause fatalities, disabling injuries, and wrongful deaths. There are hundreds of thousands of semi-truck crashes reported each year, and many happen right here in Texas.
The largest vehicles on our country's roadways are commercial vehicles like semi-trucks and 18-wheelers. They serve a crucial role in moving big, hefty cargo across America, including building supplies, construction machinery, and everyday items. Truck accidents can be prevented by truck drivers, truck manufacturers, and cargo firms. They can and ought to be held liable for their carelessness if they fail to do so and an accident results in injury to a driver, a cyclist, or a pedestrian. If you were injured in an accident, you may be entitled to damages to help you adjust to life after your injury as well as compensation to cover your medical expenses and lost wages.
