Lubbock, TX - One Hospitalized in Crash with Flatbed Trailer at Loop 289 & University Ave

Lubbock, TX (March 3, 2023) - A two-vehicle crash involving a flatbed trailer in Lubbock on Wednesday, March 1, left one person injured. 

The crash was reported on South Loop 289 near University Avenue that afternoon. A passenger car reportedly collided with the semi-truck in the highway's northbound lanes. One person was hospitalized for treatment of sustained injuries. 

No additional information on the crash has been provided at this time. 

Local authorities are handling the ongoing accident investigation.
