Whistleblower Files Lawsuit Against Nursing Home

A nurse who was fired from her job is alleging that the employer let her go because she reported patient neglect. The lawsuit is detailed in SETexasRecord.com. According to the whistleblower lawsuit, the nurse in question had complained that caregivers at the home care agency she worked for were not attending to patients properly. She further alleges that the employer told her not document any of the incidents and to not document how it affected patients.
The woman was let go from her job about two weeks after the incident, according to the report. The woman as allegedly let go for unprofessional behavior, inappropriately documenting records and crossing professional boundaries, according to her former employer.
