Ward County, TX – Collision on I-20 Claimed Two Victims’ Lives

Ward County, TX (February 15, 2020) – On February 10, authorities were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 20. Reports indicate that 37-year-old Horacio Acosta-Ramirez and his passenger, Rene Cruz, were traveling west along the interstate when another vehicle crossed over the center line and collided with their vehicle head-on.

Both Cruz and Acosta-Ramirez suffered fatal injuries in the collision and were declared deceased at the scene.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
