UPDATE: Coleman County, TX – Three Killed in Plane Crash by Lake Coleman ID’d

Manvel, TX – One Injured in Plane Crash near Oil Field Rd

On February 20, authorities in Coleman County were notified of a plane crash at around 6 a.m. Reports from authorities specify that a Beechcraft BE20 Super King Air plane took off from the Abilene Regional Airport at around 5:40 a.m. Within 20-minutes, air traffic control lost communication with the plane.

At around 9:20 a.m., the wreckage of the airplane was discovered near Lake Coleman.

All three victims on board suffered fatal injuries. The three victims were later identified as 31-year-old Chase Hunter Bellah, 65-year-old Gary Alan Morrison, and 70-year-old Charles Cleveland Whitener.

The incident remains under investigation at this time.

Coleman County, TX (February 22, 2020) – The three victims sadly killed in Coleman County airplane crash have been identified by police.

On February 20, authorities in Coleman County were notified of a plane crash at around 6 a.m. Reports from authorities specify that a Beechcraft BE20 Super King Air plane took off from the Abilene Regional Airport at around 5:40 a.m. Within 20-minutes, air traffic control lost communication with the plane.
