San Antonio, TX - Two People Injured in Pedestrian Crash on US-281

San Antonio, TX (November 28, 2020) – A vehicle collision in San Antonio left two people injured on Friday morning. At approximately 7:40 a.m., on November 27, the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a crash on US Highway 281.

According to reports, a female officer with the San Antonio Police Department was standing at the back of her patrol vehicle near the entrance ramp for Josephine Street of US Highway 281 when she was struck by a Buick.

The female officer sustained injuries in the accident and was transported to Metropolitan Methodist Hospital for the treatment of injuries. The driver of the Buick had to be extricated from his vehicle. The man was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries. At this time, investigations are underway with the SAPD.
