The San Antonio Fire Department and area police were called to the scene of a collision on Interstate 10.
According to reports, a semi-truck collided with at least one other vehicle on the interstate between Loop 1604 and Farm to Market Road 1516. Authorities rushed to the accident scene, which was on the city’s Far East side, and immediately secured the roadway.
One person was seriously injured as a result of this crash. The victim was provided treatment at the scene and transported by ambulance to a local hospital.
The accident remains under investigation.
