Reports from authorities show that a single-engine Cessna 182 plane was traveling near the Ralph M Hall Municipal Airport when it crashed into a power line. The impact of the crash caused the plane to overturn and catch on fire before crashing near the 1900 block of Texas State Highway 66.
The passenger and one passenger on the plane were both killed instantly in the accident. Authorities responding to the site of the crash pronounced both victims deceased.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation with the Federal Aviation Administration and local law enforcement agencies.
