Manvel, TX – One Injured in Plane Crash near Oil Field Rd

Manvel, TX (December 12, 2020) – A plane crash reported on Thursday in the Manvel area left one person injured. At around 2 p.m., on December 10, authorities were called to the scene of a crash on Oil Field Road.

Reports from authorities show that a single-engine Luscombe 8A was attempting to land at the Wolfe Air Park when it collided with a power line. The impact of the collision caused the plane to crash down near Oil Field Road.

The pilot was injured in the accident. The victim was transported to an area hospital for further treatment of injuries. At this time, the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
