Houston, TX – Worker Killed in Accident on Water Works Way Blvd

Houston, TX (August 9, 2020) – An accident reported late in the afternoon on Friday claimed one worker’s life in the Houston area, according to local news sources. Just after noon on August 7, the Houston Police and Fire Departments were called to the scene of an accident at a construction site located off Water Works Way Boulevard.

Reports provided by authorities show that a crew of construction workers was working on a tunnel in the area of Water Works Way and Timber Forest Drive when one of them became trapped inside. Crews worked diligently to remove the victim without incident. However, the injured worker succumbed to their injuries at the scene of the incident. At this time, the police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
