Hearne, TX – 2 Killed in Highway 6 (US-190) Crash

Hearne, TX (February 8, 2020) – Two people sadly lost their lives in a motor vehicle accident off Highway 6 on Friday.

Just before 3 p.m., on February 7, authorities were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Highway 6. Reports indicate that multiple vehicles collided along the roadway after one driver swerved to avoid hitting a semi-truck on the southbound side of the highway.

Two people involved in the collision suffered fatal injuries and were declared deceased at the scene.

At least one vehicle involved burst into flames.

The victims have been identified as 19-year-old Nicholas King and 60-year-old Malcolm Carlson.
