Fort Worth, TX – Three Hurt in Boat Crash near Surfside Dr

Fort Worth, TX (September 4, 2020) – A boat accident in Lake Worth sent three victims to area hospitals with injuries. Just before 9 p.m., on September 2, the Texas Department of Public Safety and various other emergency crews responded to the site of a boating accident on Lake Worth near Surfside Drive.

Reports show that a 13-year-old female was on the bow of a boat when it was struck by a second boat. The girl was critically injured in the accident. A medical helicopter was requested to the scene of the accident to transport the girl to a local hospital for treatment.

Two other people, including a second teenaged female, were injured in the accident. Both victims were transported from the site of the crash to area hospitals via MedStar paramedics. At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
