Fort Worth, TX – Child Struck & Killed on Wichita St

Fort Worth, TX (March 5, 2020) – A motor vehicle accident on Tuesday evening sadly claimed one child’s life. At around 10:15 p.m., on March 3, authorities rushed to the scene of a devastating collision in the 3600 block of Wichita Street.

Reports indicate that a 7-year-old child was attempting to cross the street, in a designated crossing area, when they were struck by a motor vehicle. The driver of the car fled the scene without stopping to render aid.

Sadly, the young boy suffered fatal injuries in the collision and was immediately declared deceased.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
