Dallas, TX – Pedestrian Injured in Motor Vehicle Accident on Howell St

Dallas, TX (March 10, 2020) – An accident Saturday evening left one person injured, according to police. At around 11:55 p.m., on March 8, authorities were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the 4700 block of Howell Street.

Reports indicate that a pedestrian was attempting to cross the road when they were struck by a motor vehicle.

The victim suffered serious injuries to their lower extremities and was rushed to an area hospital for treatment.

Police believe the driver of the vehicle was attempting to flee the area after hearing gunfire.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation with the Dallas Police Department.
