Dallas, TX – Firefighter Seriously Injured in Fire on Walnut Hill Ln

Dallas, TX (February 15, 2020) – At around 1:49 a.m., on February 14, the Dallas Fire-Rescue responded to the scene of a major fire incident in the 2600 block of Walnut Hill Lane.

Reports indicate that a fire broke out in a building located along the roadway. As one firefighter attempted to gain entry into the building, a part of the roof and building collapsed on top of him.

The victim was able to crawl away from the flames and was rushed to Parkland Hospital with serious injuries.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
