Bexar County, TX – Man Struck & Killed on South Loop 1604

Bexar County, TX (October 17, 2020) - A motor vehicle accident reported on Friday evening claimed one man’s life in Bexar County. Just after 8 p.m., on October 16, the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on South Loop 1604 East.

Reports from authorities show that a male pedestrian was attempting to cross the road in the 8000 block of South Loop 1604 East when he was struck by a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and requested medical assistance.

The pedestrian was fatally injured in the accident. Soon after arriving at the scene, authorities pronounced the man deceased. The driver of the vehicle was not injured in the accident. They remained on-site and spoke with law enforcement.

At this time, investigations surrounding the accident are underway.
