Axtell, TX – 3 Injured in Auto Collision on US-31

Axtell, TX (March 12, 2020) – An auto accident involving two vehicles left three victims injured. On March 11, at around 7 a.m., the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of an auto accident on Highway 31.

Reports from DPS state that a semi-truck was traveling north along Highway 31 when it collided with a Dodge vehicle at the intersection with Farm to Market Road 2311.

The impact of the collision caused the truck to roll over, leaking fuel along the roadway. HAZMAT responded to the scene to clear up the scene of the collision.

Both drivers were injured in the crash, as well as a passenger inside the Dodge. All three victims were transported to Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest for treatment.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
