As a champion for the rights of children and parents, Rasansky Law Firm represented (and achieved a settlement for) the parents of a child who choked and died at a local daycare.

As the child choked, the teacher did not notice what was happening until other children started poking at the unconscious child, and after her lips had already turned blue. Instead of instituting CPR or anti-choking measures, the teacher picked up the child and took her down the hall to someone else.

The daycare Administrator admitted that the teacher was not qualified and should not have been in the classroom pursuant to Texas law.
