Navasota, TX (September 29, 2023) - On Thursday, September 28, a pileup collision outside of Navasota resulted in a fatality.
The deadly accident was reported on TX-249 near TX-105 in Grimes County at around 10 a.m. that morning. It was reported that an 18-wheeler, a sport-utility vehicle (SUV), and a pickup truck collided at the scene. The roadway was closed for several hours while emergency responders were present.
At least one person suffered fatal injuries in the accident. It is unknown if anyone else involved was injured. The identity of the deceased has not been provided at this time.
No additional information on the deadly crash has been made public, and more information will be released as the investigation progresses.
