Longview, TX (August 17, 2023) - There were reported injuries after a crash involving an 18-wheeler in the Longview area on Monday, August 14.
Police and emergency personnel were dispatched to the site of a reported semi-truck crash. At least two vehicles were reportedly involved in the accident. An undetermined number of victims were taken to a local hospital for treatment of sustained injuries. No updates on their conditions have been provided at this time.
The roadway was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present. The area was later reopened after tow trucks were able to remove the resulting debris. Authorities advised drivers to avoid the scene and to prepare for delays.
