Houston, TX - US-290 Closed Due to Multi-Vehicle Injury Crash

Houston, TX (October 11, 2023) - Early on Wednesday morning, October 11, there were reported injuries after a pileup collision in the Houston area. 

The accident took place on US-290 near Tidwell Road early that morning at around 6:27 a.m. Reports from the Houston Police Department indicated that the collision involved four vehicles, including a semi-truck. All lanes were blocked while emergency responders were at the scene. 

At least one person involved sustained injuries, and the crash victims were treated at the scene before being transferred to a local hospital for additional treatment. The severity and number of resulting injuries have not been determined at this time. 

No additional information on the accident has been provided.
