Graham, TX (September 9, 2023) - A passenger was killed after a head-on crash involving a semi-truck outside of Graham on Friday, September 1.
The deadly accident was reported on Highway 16 in Young County early that morning at around 6:08 a.m. Local reports indicated that a Ford Mustang was headed northwest on the highway when it crossed into oncoming traffic. The car crashed head-on with an oncoming semi-truck.
A 20-year-old man traveling as a passenger in the Mustang suffered fatal injuries. The 20-year-old woman driving the Ford was transported to a local hospital for treatment of sustained injuries. No updates on their condition have been provided at this time.
No other injuries were reported in the collision, and no additional information has been provided at this time.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the deadly accident is in progress.
