Frisco, TX – Truck Crash with Entrapment Reported on Sam Rayburn Tollway (TX-121) near Legacy Dr

Frisco, TX (January 31, 2023) – A truck accident was reported in the Frisco area on Monday that resulted in injuries. On January 30, the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a traffic accident on Sam Rayburn Tollway, Texas State Highway 121, to provide assistance.

According to reports, just after 1:00 p.m., a traffic accident between a car and an 18-wheeler occurred on the westbound side of the tollway in the area near Legacy Drive.

The car became trapped under the trailer of the semi-truck. Firefighters and police responded to the scene of the accident to secure the area.

Firefighters went to work on removing the trapped vehicle from under the trailer.

Firefighters were able to remove the victim from their vehicle. EMS responded to the scene to care for the injured victim before transporting them to an area hospital.

The Texas Department of Public Safety is currently investigating the crash.
