Abilene, TX (October 25, 2023) - On Monday night, October 23, a man was killed after being involved in a crash with a semi-truck in the Abilene area.
It was reported that a 49-year-old Abilene man was headed southbound in a pickup truck on Farm to Market Road 1661 as an 18-wheeler was traveling down TX-92. The two vehicles collided at the crossing of the roadways at around 6 p.m.
The driver of the pickup suffered fatal injuries in the collision. The identity of the deceased party has not been provided at this time.
No further information on the deadly crash has been provided at this time.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the fatal accident is in the hands of local law enforcement officials, and more information will be provided as it continues.
