It may be worth it to drive through some neighborhoods rather than going through an area that’s full of clubs or bars. This should lessen your chances of running into a drunk on the road.

If there are other destinations that don’t serve alcohol that may attract a lot of people who have been drinking, be aware of when these close, as well. This ensures that you’re not on the road when drunks are most likely to be in the area. Those places can include diners and gas stations.

3: Read the news.

Pay attention to where these accidents tend to happen. 4: Know vacation times.
