The accident was reported on Interstate 20 near FM 1856 at around 5 p.m. A pickup truck hauling a flatbed trailer with an oversized load. The vehicle was approaching an overpass, and the load was unable to fit through the area. The driver slowed down but ultimately hit the structure. 

A truck tractor hauling a manufactured home behind the vehicle crashed into the trailer. This caused the truck to enter the eastbound lanes of the interstate. A passenger vehicle was unable to avoid hitting the truck and was dragged by the tractor-trailer before overturning. The truck towing the manufactured home then hit another pickup. 

The passenger and driver of the first pickup with the trailer were hospitalized, along with the driver of the passenger car. No other injuries were reported. 

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the incident is in progress.
