Reports show that a crash involving two planes took place mid-air just northwest of the Gillespie County Airport. The crash caused one of the planes to crash to the ground.
One person sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash.
The second plane was able to land on the ground safely, allowing two people to exit uninjured.
At this time, investigations are underway with the Federal Aviation Administration.
