The collision was reported at the intersection of Interstate 35 and Riverside Drive at around 6:15 a.m. It was reported that a gray pickup truck collided with an 18-wheeler, and the impact caused the pickup to catch fire. An adult victim was pinned inside the vehicle.
The injured party was transported to Dell Seton Medical Center in serious condition.
