Waco, TX – Truck Accident on I-35 (US-77) Results in Injuries

Waco, TX (July 23, 2020) – An automobile accident on Wednesday afternoon sent one victim to a local hospital with injuries. On July 22, the Waco Police and Fire Departments responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 35.

Reports provided by the Waco Police show that an SUV and an 18-wheeler collided on Interstate 35 near the area of Orchard Lane for unknown reasons. The driver of the semi-truck was uninjured in the accident. The driver, and sole occupant of the SUV, was injured in the collision. The victim was provided medical treatment at the scene and transported to a local hospital for further treatment of injuries. At this time, police in Waco are investigating the cause of the crash.
