Terrell, TX – Young Child Injured in Pedestrian Crash on FM148

Terrell, TX (July 27, 2020) – A pedestrian accident reported on Saturday evening left one child seriously injured. At approximately 7:25 p.m., on July 25, the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Farm to Market Road 148.

Reports provided by authorities show that a 2-year-old boy was struck by a vehicle in the 11000 block of Farm to Market Road 148 just south of the intersection with Interstate 20. The child sustained critical injuries in the accident. He was airlifted from the scene and rushed to Children’s Medical Center for treatment. At this time, the circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation.
