San Antonio, TX (August 12, 2020) – An accident reported early Tuesday morning sent one victim to an area hospital with injuries. At approximately 1:15 a.m., on August 11, the San Antonio Police Department responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 37.
Reports provided by local news sources show that a collision between two semi-trucks took place on the northbound lanes of Interstate 37 between Hardy Road and Mathis Road for unknown reasons. The impact of the collision caused severe damages to one vehicle involved. One driver was injured in this accident. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment. At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
