Princeton, TX (July 7, 2020) – A collision early Monday morning claimed one woman’s life in Collin County, according to reports. Just after 12:30 a.m., on July 6, the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on East Lucas Branch Road (Farm to Market Road 3286).
Reports show that a female pedestrian was walking down the roadway, between the area of Farm to Market Road 982 and Lake Lavon Bridge, when she was struck by an eastbound vehicle. The woman sustained fatal injuries in the crash and was immediately declared deceased. An investigation surrounding the cause of the collision remains underway at this time.
