Lubbock, TX – One Injured in Two-Vehicle Collision on I-27

Lubbock, TX (July 23, 2020) – An auto collision on Thursday morning in Lubbock sent one woman to a local hospital with serious injuries. Just after 8 a.m., on July 23, the Lubbock Police Department responded to the site of a collision, along with medical personnel, on Interstate 27.

Reports provided by authorities show that a silver Lexus SUV and a white pickup truck collided on Interstate 27 at the intersection with Slaton Road for unknown reasons. A female victim involved in the crash sustained moderate injuries. The woman was transported from the scene of the collision to a local hospital for immediate medical attention. At this time, police in Lubbock are investigating the cause of the crash.
