Houston, TX – One Killed in Rollover Accident on Howard Dr

Houston, TX (July 5, 2020) – A motor vehicle accident in the Meadowbrook section of the town left at least one person injured. At 2:09 p.m., on July 4, the Houston Police Department and Houston Fire Department responded to the scene of a collision in the 8500 block of Howard Drive.

Reports from the HPD show that a collision occurred along the roadway for unknown reasons involving a Lincoln MKX and a Honda Civic. According to reports, a Lincoln collided with a Honda Civic then continued down the road. The Lincoln then crash into a Chevrolet Silverado 1500, which pushed to Chevrolet into the rear-end of a GMC Sierra. The Lincoln then collided with a Honda Pilot on the road. The impact of the collision caused one of the vehicles involved to rollover, trapping the occupants inside. Firefighters extricated the victims trapped inside their vehicle. One person involved in this crash suffered fatal injuries. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
