Fort Worth, TX – Injuries Reported in Two-Vehicle Crash on I-820

Fort Worth, TX (July 22, 2020) – A vehicle accident on Tuesday left one person injured in the Fort Worth area. On July 21, police and medical personnel in Fort Worth responded to the site of a collision on Interstate 820.

Reports provided by local sources show that a white pickup truck and a white SUV collided on the eastbound side of Interstate 820 between the area of Old Decatur Road and Marine Creek Parkway. The impact of the collision caused extensive front-end damages to both vehicles involved.

The driver of the SUV became entrapped inside their vehicle. Firefighters responded to the site of the incident and extricated the victim. The male driver sustained traumatic head injuries in the accident. The victim was rushed to a local hospital for treatment. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
