Fatal Car Accidents in Texas

Brownsville, TX – Two Killed in Crash on FM 803 (Olmito North Rd)

Car accidents often have an overwhelming impact on those involved. This is especially true in cases where victims sustain injuries. Each year, more than 17,500 people sustain serious injuries in accidents that require extensive medical treatment and hospitalization. Although we want to believe that everyone recovers from their injuries, this is far from the truth. In fact, thousands of people end up passing away due to injuries sustained in car accidents throughout our state each year.

The unfortunate truth is that more than 10 people lose their lives in motor vehicle accidents here in Texas every day. These incidents add up to more than 3,600 lives lost annually as a result of traffic-related incidents. Many victims suffer fatal injuries in collisions as a result of the negligent or reckless actions of others. Although we can take proactive measures to ensure the lives of those around us are safe from our actions, we cannot prevent others from engaging in negligent actions while driving. In some cases, surviving relatives can contact a wrongful death attorney in Texas to protect their legal rights.
