Beaumont, TX - Wardah Ansari Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Washington Blvd

Beaumont, TX (July 8, 2020) – An auto accident in Beaumont claimed one woman’s life on Friday, according to reports. At approximately 11:30 p.m., on July 3, the Beaumont Police Department responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Washington Boulevard.

Reports from the BPD show that 28-year-old Wardah Ansari was struck by a vehicle in the 3100 block of Washington Boulevard for unknown reasons. Ansari was rushed to St. Elizabeth Hospital for treatment. Authorities confirmed that she later succumbed to her injuries. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene of the crash and cooperated with law enforcement. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
