Amarillo, TX – One Killed in Car Accident on Ranch Rd 1061

Amarillo, TX (July 3, 2020) – On June 2, the Amarillo Police Department responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Farm to Market Road 1061 (Ranch Road 1061).

Reports from the APD show that a pickup truck was traveling down the roadway while pulling a trailer when the vehicle collided with a second pickup truck near the intersection with Farm to Market Road 2381.

One person involved in the crash was fatally injured. A second victim suffered critical injuries in the accident. Authorities responded to the scene and declared the first victim deceased. The second victim was airlifted from the site of the crash to an area hospital for treatment. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
