Waco, TX - Pedestrian Hit, Killed by Semi-Truck on I-35

Waco, TX (May 8, 2023) - On Sunday morning, May 7, a pedestrian was hurt after being struck by a commercial truck in the Waco area. 

The accident was reported at the 1600 block of Interstate 35 NB. The victim was hit by the oncoming semi-truck and was left with fatal injuries. They were pronounced dead at the scene by responding paramedics. 

At this time, the circumstances leading to the deadly crash have not been reported. The identity of the deceased has been withheld. 

An ongoing crash investigation is in the hands of local authorities.
