According to the Texas Department of Transportation, Texas has roughly 16,000 semi-truck accidents yearly. About 300 of those individuals every year are killed in semi-truck collisions in Texas, and an additional 2,500 suffer life-threatening injuries. A large semi-truck can be completely devastating in the event of a crash, and you need to be ready to protect your rights if you become the victim of one of these accidents.
Finding the person or parties at fault for the crash is crucial after a truck accident in Texas. The majority of semi-truck accidents actually include multiple parties that contributed to the accident's initial cause. Finding every person or entity accountable for causing a truck accident can be difficult. Due to the complexity of a semi-truck accident case, hiring a knowledgeable, diligent, and experienced Texas truck accident attorney is the best course of action for defending your legal rights. A big rig driver is one example of a party that is frequently held accountable for a commercial vehicle collision.
