Spring, TX - Child Hit by Car at Joy Ridge & Lincoln Meadows Dr

Spring, TX (March 5, 2024) - A child was critically injured after a pedestrian accident in the Spring area on Monday, March 4. The incident was reported at the corner of Joy Ridge Drive and Lincoln Meadows Drive. Local reports indicated that a six-year-old was on foot when they were hit by an oncoming motor vehicle. 

Emergency crews were rushed to the scene to render the necessary medical aid. The injured party was transported to a local hospital for treatment of sustained injuries. No updates on their condition have been provided at this time. 

The driver involved reportedly remained at the scene and cooperated with responding officials. The area was temporarily closed as emergency crews were present. The circumstances leading to the accident have not yet been determined. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is being managed by local law enforcement officials, and more information will be provided as it becomes available.
