Nationwide, there are about 500,000 semi-truck collisions per year, and more than 5,000 of these accidents result in fatal injuries. A passenger outside the commercial truck is involved in about 98 percent of these fatalities. Each year, over 130,000 individuals are injured in semi-truck collisions in the United States, and those who have lost a loved one in a fatal collision may be entitled to file a claim for compensation.
