San Marcos, TX - Injuries Reported in Two Semi-Truck Crash on I-35

San Marcos, TX (July 15, 2023) - At least one person was hurt after a crash involving two big rigs in the San Marcos area on Tuesday night, July 11. 

The accident was reported at around 8:40 p.m. on Interstate 35 NB near TX-123. Two semi-trucks were reportedly involved in the collision. All northbound lanes were closed while emergency responders were present. The area was later cleared and reopened to outside traffic. 

The injured parties were provided treatment by attending paramedics. Those requiring additional aid were later hospitalized. 

No further information on the accident has been provided at this time. 

Local authorities are handling the ongoing crash investigation.
